Durable Idlers and Track Adjusters for Heavy Equipment
Crafts idler and track adjuster are manufactured according to the standard of OEM. Made from round steel, the idler main pin shaft will be hardened by the mid frequency hardening heat treatment to ensure its hardness. Meanwhile, the idler shell is casted by special steel. The lathing process is able to ensure the idler boundary dimension, and the mid frequency hardening heat treatment will be made to harden its hardness to HRC 56° around. Same as the track roller, Crafts idler have great lubricated system, too. The high hardness ware-resisting alloy chrome & molybdenum floating seal, the elastic rubber O-ring, and the good quality bimetal bronze bushings are also been taken to ensure our idler quality. After assembling, there is a testing process under water to prove the sealing property of our idlers. Rolling fluency testing process is also necessary to finally prove our idlers are ready on duty. Then, they will be put to be painted and packing, waiting for the loading and shipping.

The function of an idler is to guide the track links into running smoothly and to prevent dislocation. Idlers also carry some weight and therefore increasing the track links and decreasing ground pressure. There is also an arm in the center which supports the track link and guides the two sides. The smaller the distance between the idler and track roller, the better the orientation. Our idlers have wide choice range, they are able to applicated to special model of crawler type excavators and bulldozers from 0.8t to 100t. They are widely applied in bulldozers and excavators of Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Hyundai and Doosan etc.
